Xator closes two acquisitions

May 1, 2015

DESTIN, FL. (May 1, 2015) – Xator, an integrated security, intelligence and information technology company, today announced the acquisitions of two high tech companies providing services to National Security clients; Sage Management Enterprises, LLC and Vaxcom Services, Inc. Sage is a veteran-owned small business based out of Columbia, Maryland, while Vaxcom is based out of Fairfax, Virginia. Both acquisitions closed on April 30, 2015.

Sage Management, a rapidly growing C4ISR, Cyber Security, Geospatial Information System, and atmospheric dispersion modeling business, will extend Xator’s reach into new markets while broadening its C4ISR enabled, integrated and converged security solutions to its National Security clients. Vaxcom, a provider of secure communications, network engineering, continuity of operations and threat management solutions to the intelligence and homeland security markets, expands Xator’s current offering to its National Security clients in the C4ISR arena.

“Both Sage and Vaxcom significantly expand Xator’s C4ISR offerings by adding depth and breadth to existing services. Sage adds Cyber Security and Chemical, Biological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) offerings to our existing portfolio, while Vaxcom enhances our integrated and intelligence led security solutions,” said David Scott, CEO of Xator. “And like Xator, both companies are customer-focused and mission-driven, which is consistent with our culture and is a key decision factor as we expand our team. We are thrilled to have Sage and Vaxcom join the Xator family.”

Sean Keller, President of Sage, said of the acquisition, “A shared vision will position us for expanded growth, and the blending of our companies will bring new and exciting opportunities to our employees and innovative solutions to address our national security interests.”

“Vaxcom’s in-depth knowledge of real world protective intelligence principles, methodologies and operations, coupled with our communications and network engineering capabilities is a force multiplier when added to the extraordinary capabilities of Xator,” said William Schmale, President of VAXCOM. “This combination will bring great value to our employees and customers.”
