Xator is honored to announce Anthony Iasso, Chief Technology Officer, named as a finalist in the WashingtonExec’s Chief Officer Awards for 2022. Mr. Iasso joined Xator through the acquisition of InCadence Corporation in 2020 and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2021.
Mr. Iasso’s accomplishments include the establishment of Xator’s Security Technology Center of Excellence (STCE) in Summit Point, West Virginia. This campus integrates life-saving technologies in the area of biometrics, Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems, intrusion detection, and cyber security. The complex provides a full-scale base to integrate and test security technologies used to protect military installations, embassies, data centers, and other secure facilities. The innovations that Mr. Iasso initiated and developed at the STCE are being deployed and used in protecting U.S. personnel, facilities, and interests from attack by unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, his integration of biometric devices enabled U.S. Forces to safely evacuate thousands of refugees during last year’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.
WashingtonExec’s annual Chief Officer Awards recognize the most impactful and innovative executives in government and industry sitting in the C-suite. The awards aim to fill a gap in the market of showcasing the technologists, security experts and business leaders making waves in government contracting from both sides of the sector.
